Paula Campbell, age 75 and resident of Dahlgren, IL, passed away at 12:01 a.m., Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital, McLeansboro, IL with her family by her side.
Paula was born April 16, 1949 in McLeansboro, IL to Albert Cletus Karcher and Alma Juliana (Miller) Karcher. She married Ronald Ray Campbell on December 29, 1969 at St. John Baptist Catholic Church in Piopolis, IL. Paula was employed as a Service Writer and worked in the agriculture field before retiring. She loved to read, work in her flowers, loved to be around people and especially spending time with her grandchildren and brightening some else’s day!!!
Paula is survived by Husband Ron of Dahlgren, Son Chad Eric Campbell of Dahlgren and Daughter Carisa Campbell with Companion Joey Curtis, Dahlgren; 4 Grandchildren, Josie Jackson and Husband Joey, McLeansboro; Kambria Patterson and Husband Ethan of Equality; Lane Campbell, Dahlgren; Calin Cerajewski, McLeansboro; 4 Great Grandchildren, Gracie Jackson, Brantley Johnson, J.D,Jackson and Jeb Patterson
Preceding Paula in death were her parents Albert and Alma Karcher.
Memorials in Memory of Paula are requested for St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital and can be left with her family or left with Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, IL, which is assisting the family with arrangements. A Private Burial of Ashes will be held by her family at a later date.
