The Wayne County Circuit Court has been busy this week.
24-year-old, Noel Walker of Fairfield pled guilty to DUI and was placed on one year of court supervision.
Seth Bradford, a 27-year-old resident of Fairfield violated his previous sentence of two years probation on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bradford was sentenced to 180 days in the Wayne County Jail.
47-year-old Jack Myers of Fairfield also violated his previous sentence of 24 months conditional discharge on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Myers will serve a 24 hour periodic imprisonment of 120 days in the Wayne County Jail.
A Mt. Vernon resident, 42-year-old DeKal James pled guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct and was placed on court supervision for one year.
35-year-old Jessica Lawyer of Fairfield pled guilty to Unauthorized Video Recording and Live Video Transmission. Lawyer was sentenced to 90 days in the Wayne County Jail and given credit for two days, time served however, the sentence was suspended as long a Lawyer remains compliant under the terms of her probation.
Four individuals appeared for their initial charges of possession of methamphetamine. The defendants include 26-year-old Matthew Frazier and 34-year-old Oakley Kempiak from Wayne City, 32-year-old Aimee R. Barr from Rinard, and 57-year-old Christopher Hedden from Fairfield. Each defendant is facing a possession of methamphetamine charge. Additionally, Aimee R. Barr is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. After being informed of the charges against them, all four defendants were scheduled for their next court appearance.
