The City of Fairfield’s annual fireworks display took place on July 5th this year, and was held last night at Southwest Park in Fairfield. Cisne also held its fireworks display last night.
Pleasant weather conditions greeted those attending both displays. Fairfield’s fireworks display lasted about 25 minutes, beginning around 9:05 p.m. Several events preceded the fireworks display, including inflatables, foam fun, jelly ball and food served by various establishments.
Sponsors for the event included the Fairfield Wal-Mart, Peoples National Bank, Carnaby Square and Big Boy Catering.
