ILLINOIS STATE FAIR MUSEUM FOUNDATION ILLINOISAN OF THE DAY

The Illinois State Fair Museum Foundation is seeking 10 individuals to be recognized as Illinoisans of the Day during the Illinois State Fair. These honorees should embody qualities like integrity, community involvement, and strong ethics. Nominees must be engaged in service, educational projects, or youth programs related to state or county fairs in Illinois, showcasing their Illinois spirit through volunteerism. Residents of Illinois aged 25 or older who have contributed to an Illinois fair are eligible. Winners will be celebrated during the Illinois State Fair from August 8th to 18th. Nomination forms are available on the museum foundation’s website, with a deadline of July 20th. Winners will be notified by phone. The Foundation, established in 2006, aims to preserve the Illinois State Fair’s heritage and traditions for future generations.
