The 145th annual White County Fair is quickly approaching, with a variety of exciting events lined up for attendees. This year, officials have planned two demolition derbies, with one kicking off the fair on Saturday, August 3rd, and the other concluding the festivities on August 10th. Additionally, the fair will witness the crowning of new royalty on Monday, as Brenna Russell passes on her crown. New Junior and Little Miss titles will also be awarded during the event.

The fair’s schedule includes the traditional Harness Racing on Tuesday, offering free grandstand seating for spectators. On Thursday night, race promoter Drew Phipps will showcase Motocross in front of the grandstand, followed by the crowd-pleasing Pig Penning on Friday night. All events, except for harness racing, are set to begin at 7 pm.

The livestock show is scheduled to run from Friday, August 2nd to Saturday, August 3rd, providing an opportunity for participants to exhibit their animals. More information about tickets and additional details will be announced closer to the fair dates.

Officials have also mentioned that this year’s White County Fair will feature an increased number of food vendors compared to previous years, offering a wider selection of culinary delights for fair attendees to enjoy.
