Members of the Wayne County Farm Bureau are invited to the organization’s annual Member Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, August 8th at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Outer West Delaware St. in Fairfield. Dinner will be served from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and will include fish, hush puppies, fries, baked beans, potato salad, and homemade ice cream. The fish dinner will be prepared by Jim McPeak and his fish-frying crew.
This year’s event will also feature two large tractor inflatables. Tickets for dinner are $2.00 each. All ticket money will be returned as cash door prizes during the dinner. Children 12 and under eat free. Members must purchase a meal ticket by August 1st to attend; tickets will not be sold on the evening of the dinner. Ag in the Classroom will host a silent auction to raise funds for the program.
The dinner is open only to Wayne County Farm Bureau members. Members can purchase a ticket at the Wayne County Farm Bureau office located at 301 E Court Street in Fairfield.
