Illinois State Troop 9 units responded to a property damage crash involving a motorcycle Thursday afternoon just after 2:30 in I-64 EB near Milepost 98.5 in Wayne County. The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on I-64 near milepost 98.5 when it began experiencing mechanical problems. The driver of the motorcycle attempted to exit I-64 when the driver lost control of the motorcycle and ran off the roadway into the right ditch.
The driver and passenger on the motorcycle did not sustain any injuries.
