WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT NEWS FROM THURSDAY

55-year-old William Voliva Jr. from Carmi admitted he violated a previous sentence of two years probation in which a Petition to Revoke Probation was entered in Wayne County Circuit Court Thursday.   Voliva is currently serving 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine so, this sentence will run in concurrent with a warrant from Madison County IL.

 

40-year-old James H. Williams of Geff was sentenced to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.  Williams was given one day of credit served and ordered to pay court costs.

 

76-year-old Johnny Marshal of Fairfield pled guilty to the charges of Domestic Battery and Reckless Driving.  Marshal was placed on two years of probation and was sentenced to spend 180 days in the Wayne County Jail.
