MAJOR RENOVATION PROJECT COMING FOR THE FAIRFIELD HUCK’S CONVENIENCE STORE

A major renovation project is coming for the Fairfield Huck’s at 101 West Main St. Martin & Bayley INC, with corporate offices in Carmi and the owner of Huck’s stores recently purchased the Mary Faye Banker property at 105 West Main St. The home has been demolished from the site and dirt work continues on the area. An assistant manager of the Fairfield Huck’s says plans are to move the current fuel pumps onto the area where the home was located and expand their current parking lot. No timeframe was given as to when the work will be completed.
