WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT HANDLE CAR-DEER CRASH SATURDAY

Wayne County Sheriff’s Department handled a car-deer accident Saturday night just after 10:30 in the 800 block of County Highway 16 in Johnsonville.  Deputies say a 2018 Chevrolet utility driven by 18-year-old Andersen Snyder of Sailor Springs, IL was traveling eastbound on County Highway 16 in Johnsonville when a deer entered the roadway and was struck by the Snyder vehicle.  Snyder was not injured and his vehicle had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damage.  Snyder was also issued a citation for Driving While License Revoked.
