George David Wiseman passed away on July 31st, 2024 at 6:45pm at the age of 68. He passed peacefully in the home of his daughter and son in law with them by his side. As he went to his eternal home of comfort and peace, his hand was held as his head was rubbed.
Born in Mt. Carmel,Illinois on September 23, 1955 to Bill and Ruth Wiseman of Browns, Illinois. He later became a long term resident of Louisiana in the early 1980s’. Keeping to his northern roots and upbringing he also embraced the Cajun lifestyle and southern way of living.
George was a welder and fabricator for VIP International for 20 plus years. He was an avid Harley-Davidson rider and enthusiast all of his adult life. He loved the open road, good music and a cold glass of Red Diamond Iced Tea. He also loved sitting on his front porch with his loyal dog Lucky by his side.
He is survived by his two children, daughter Jacqueline Wiseman-Stewart and son William Wiseman. He is also survived by five grandchildren Dakota Wiseman, Anthony Vincent, Madeline Vincent, Summer Stewart and George Wiseman II.
Also surviving are his sisters Kathy Maginn of Albion; and Sara Chiarello of Mt. Carmel and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Bill and Ruth Wiseman, brother Glen Wiseman and grandson Jackson David Stewart.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Albion, Illinois
Church Funeral Services & Crematory of St. Amant, LA is assisting the family.
