WAYNE COUNTY BOARD MEETING RECAP FROM THURSDAY NIGHT

The Wayne County Board met for the regular monthly meeting last (Thursday) night at the Wayne County Courthouse with a rather light agenda.  The board appointed Fairfield Save A Lot owner, Tim McBride to a 5-year term as commissioner on the Housing Board.

 

Approved a resolution for the payment of the county’s portion of the County Highway Engineer’s salary in the amount of $54,628.00.

 

Approved a 4-year lease agreement with Fabick Tractor Company and the Wayne County Highway Department for a Caterpillar road grader in the amount of $51,920.24 per year with the option to buy for $1.00 after the lease is over.

 

The Board approved the list of election judges compiled by County Clerk, LizAnn Woodrow.

 

Approved the yearly payment to the Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission for the 2024-2025 year in the amount of $5,931.00
