Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one vehicle crash early Sunday morning just 1 o’clock Southwest of Fairfield at 1682 County Road 800N in Big Mound Township. Deputies says a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 20-year-old Allyah Baker of Symsonia, KY was travelling westbound on County Road 800n when the vehicle Baker was driving left the roadway striking a Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing gate after missing a curve in the road. Baker told deputies she was not familiar with the road. Baker was not injured but received a citation for Failure To Reduce Speed To Avoid An Accident.
