FAIRFIELD MAN ARRESTED FOR RETAIL THEFT

Fairfield Police responded Friday afternoon to Mach 1 just shortly before 5 o’clock concerning a retail theft.  Officers had previously investigated the report and the accused, Cody L. Massie, 39, Fairfield had returned to Mach 1.   Massie had departed prior to officers’ arrival, but was located at the intersection of NW 7th Street and Elm Street. Massie was taken into custody for retail theft and during a search, suspected methamphetamine was located. Massie was transported to the Wayne County Jail.
