TWO INJURED FOLLOWING TRAFFIC ACCIDENT SATURDAY MORNING IN FAIRFIELD

Fairfield Police responded to a traffic accident with injuries Saturday morning at South 1st and Broadway St. just before 8 o’clock.  Officers say 49-year-old Scott Foster, of Fairfield was traveling south on South 1st Street in a 2018 Ford Excursion when a 2015 Buick Regal, traveling east on Broadway failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled into the path of Foster. The Buick was driven by 16-year-old Justin Wilson of Fairfield. Wilson, along with 2 passengers were transported to Fairfield Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
