DUQUOIN STATE FAIR SET TO BEGINS FRIDAY

The DuQuoin State Fair is set to kick off this Friday and will continue through Labor Day, September 2nd. This year, organizers are excited to announce that country artist Chris Lane has joined the lineup.

Lane’s addition enhances the fair’s diverse entertainment offerings, which includes rap, country, rock ‘n roll, and events like harness racing and ARCA and USAC auto races.

Here’s the entertainment schedule:

Saturday, Aug. 24 – Mitchell Tenpenny

Sunday, Aug. 25 – The Marshall Tucker Band

Monday, Aug. 26 – Harness racing

Tuesday, Aug. 27 – Harness racing

Wednesday, Aug. 28 – Harness racing

Thursday, Aug. 29 – KANSAS

Friday, Aug. 30 – Ashley McBryde

Saturday, Aug. 31 – USAC Silver Crown & DIRTcar UMP Modifieds (day race)

Saturday, Aug. 31 – Chris Lane

Sunday, Sept. 1 – ARCA Menards Series 100 & DIRTcar UMP Modifieds (night race)

Monday, Sept. 2 – Nelly

Tickets for all Grandstand shows at the Du Quoin State Fair are available at the Du Quoin Grandstand box office and online via Ticketmaster.

 

The fair will officially open with the Twilight Parade at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 23rd

Admission to the fair is free. Parking costs $15 at Gate 1 and $10 at all other gates, but it’s free on Friday, August 23. Seasonal parking passes are also available for $30, valid throughout the fair.
