The Elm River Chowder is Saturday, August 31st. It’s a 100 year tradition, funded entirely by donation. The chowder will be held 4 miles east of the Rinard crossroads, look for the signs.
The will be a food stand featuring; pulled pork sandwiches, nachos, hot dogs, homemade pies and cold drinks. Chowder will also be available by the bowl and seating will be provided. No glass or plastic containers. Vegetable prep will begin no later than 7am and volunteers are needed and welcomed. The serving of chowder will begin at 12:30 pm. Live music and door prizes will be awarded.
