MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL:
The Cardinals sealed a series win over the Brewers following a 3-0 victory from Busch Stadium. Willson Contreras, Brendan Donovan and Nolan Arenado all drove in runs during the seventh inning. Andrew Kittredge earned the win in relief while Miles Mikolas gave up two hits over his six-inning start. St. Louis has won back-to-back games to remain second in the NL Central at 63-and-64. The Cards send Andre Pallante to the mound against Minnesota tonight.

The Cubs claimed their series over the Tigers with an emphatic, 10-2 win from Wrigley Field. Miguel Amaya blasted his first career grand slam and finished with five RBI. Pete Crow-Armstrong drove in a pair of runs as nearly every member of the starting lineup recorded at least one hit. Justin Steele earned the win after giving up two runs and punching out 10 batters over seven innings. Chicago has won four-of-six to stay third in the NL Central at 63-and-65. The Northsiders send Kyle Hendricks to the mound against the Marlins tonight.

The Chicago White Sox will try to win consecutive games for the first time since June when they host the Tigers at Guaranteed Rate Field tonight. The Sox are coming off a 6-2 win against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday. Chicago is in last place in the AL Central at 31-and-97. Chris Flexen starts for the Southsiders tonight. First pitch is at 7:10PM.

The action continues on Friday with three more matchups. The Falcons host the Jaguars, the Dolphins visit the Buccaneers, and the Raiders entertain the 49ers. NASCAR Cup Series Hits Classic Daytona Saturday:
The NASCAR Cup Series playoff push is reaching a near-climax at one of the most historic tracks this weekend. The field battles in the second-to-last race of the regular season at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday for the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Tyler Reddick jumped to first in the standings after a victory in the FireKeepers Casino 400 earlier this week. Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney and William Byron round out the Top-Five.
