WAYNE CITY FIRE AND EMS, ILLINOIS STATE POLICE RESPOND TO CRASH SATURDAY MORNING

Illinois State Police along with Wayne City Fire and EMS personnel were called to the scene Saturday morning for a two-unit crash on IL Rt. 15 at County Road 1150E between the Boyleston Crossroads and Sims at approximately 6:23am.  State Police say a Ford F550, was traveling eastbound on Illinois Route 15 near the intersection with County Road 1150 East. The second unit,  a truck tractor pulling a flatbed semi-trailer, was traveling westbound on Illinois Route 15 at the same location. For unknown reasons, The Ford F550 crossed over the center line and struck the truck-tractor unit.   No injuries were reported.  The Illinois State Police continue their investigation.
