WNBA:
The final regular-season match-up between the WNBA’s two Rookie of the Year front-runners goes to Caitlin Clark. On Friday, Clark had her best scoring night as a pro with 31 points and the Indiana Fever pulled away in the second half for a 100-to-81 road win against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky. The Fever have won seven of their last ten games to even their record at 16-and-16 and move them closer to their first playoff appearance in eight years. Indiana is currently in a virtual tie for the sixth seed with the Phoenix Mercury. Angel Reese finished with ten points and eleven rebounds for the Sky, who have a one-game lead over the Atlanta Dream for the eighth and final playoff spot.
