A benefit cookout for Wayne County Coroner, Carrie Jo Dagg was a huge success Saturday on the Save A Lot parking lot in Fairfield. Dagg has an aggressive form of cancer due to a tumor on the brain removed and diagnosed in July called, Glioblastoma is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Dagg, who is very strong in her faith says she is thankful and very appreciative of the support from Wayne County and the surrounding community as over 1,200 pork burgers, 210 pork chops and over 50 pounds of pulled pork were served up by numerous volunteers, Josh Glisson and members of Beyond The Badge FOP Lodge 303. All proceeds go toward Dagg to help offset her medical expenses.
