Today is Labor Day, which means an extra day off for some businesses, schools, banks, courthouses and post offices. The weather is also looking great, with temperatures dropping into the lower 80s for most of the week, and some days may even see highs in the 70s. Overnight lows are expected to fall into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Along with the cooler temperatures, humidity levels are decreasing, bringing in a refreshing airmass to our region.
Looking ahead to next week, we might experience a slight increase in humidity, which could lead to some storms. However, temperatures are set to remain in the 80s. Weather forecasts suggest that we won’t be feeling much heat for at least the next week as we move into early September.
