The Clay County Health Department (CCHD) is pleased to announce new dental clinics for qualifying adults, offering services such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) applications.
To be eligible for these services, individuals must:
Be a resident of Clay County or receive WIC services through CCHD
Be at least 20 years old
Have Medicaid or be uninsured
Meet income eligibility criteria
Have not seen a dentist in the past year
These clinics are made possible by grants from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Illinois Primary Health Care Association (IPHCA), along with generous donations from Patterson Dental and Sarah Bush Lincoln Dental Services. Patterson Dental has provided essential supplies, including toothpaste and dental floss, while Sarah Bush Lincoln Dental Services has contributed over $18,000 in dental equipment.
The next dental clinics are scheduled for Mondays, September 16th and September 23rd, from 9 am to 3 pm. To book an appointment, please call 618-662-4406 and ask for April. It’s important to complete the necessary paperwork before your visit, either by phone or in person.
