ONE VEHICLE ACCIDENT MONDAY EVENING SENDS WEST SALEM RESIDENT TO EVANSVILLE HOSPITAL

Wayne County Sheriff’s Department responded to a one vehicle, personal injury accident Monday afternoon just before 5:30 on County Highway 2 near County Rd 2675E just East of Mt. Erie. Deputies say a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by 20-year old Mary Donaldson of West Salem was traveling westbound on County Highway 2 when for an unknown reason, swerved and left the roadway with the vehicle overturning and coming to rest against a tree.  Donaldson was transported by Wayne County Ambulance to Deaconness Midtown Hospital for treatment of injuries.
