Illinois is allocating over $25 million in grants to develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure along interstate corridors. In this initial funding round, 37 projects across the state have been selected. Charging stations will be established in Cook, DuPage, Madison, Clark, Macon, and Tazewell counties. This investment supports Governor Pritzker’s goal of having one million electric vehicles on Illinois roads by 2030.
