OWNER OF POPULAR FAIRFIELD RESTAURANT STILL UNDECIDED ON THE FUTURE

It was Father’s Day Sunday afternoon, June 16th when a popular Fairfield restaurant was destroyed by fire.  Wayne Co 911 received the call at 3:33 pm reporting a structure fire at the Barb Wire Grill located at 909 West Delaware.  When firemen arrived, the restaurant was fully involved.  WFIW News reached out to restaurant owner, Mandy Bell inquiring what her plans might be.  Bell stated she is still undecided right now as numerous factors come into play when looking at rebuilding from a replacement cost in today’s economy.  Bell says that she’s still exploring the possibility, but that decision won’t be made until the end of the year.
