Philip Trent, Pastor of The Wesleyan Church just north of Fairfield has announced he and his wife, Heather will be moving to Indiana at the end of October.  Trent has accepted the Senior Pastor’s position at Parkview Wesleyan Church just outside Anderson, Indiana, northeast of Indianapolis.  Philip Trent has served as Pastor of The Wesleyan Church north of Fairfield for 22 years and is returning to Indiana to pastor the church his father was leading when he passed away 7 years ago.

It is also the church Philip’s great grandfather began in 1933 and where his grandfather pastored for many years as well.  The Trent’s have been very active in the community since coming to Fairfield in 2002 as Philip held Sunday School classes at Way-Fair, now Aperion Care for over 20 years.  His wife, Heather is a Center Street School Board member and has been a volunteer at Compassion Pregnancy Center since it began.  The Trent’s have a daughter, Kaylin and son, Logan.    The Wesleyan Church has begun its search for Philip Trent’s replacement.
