The 64th Annual Wayne City Bean Days kicked off Saturday night with the Little Miss, Junior Queen and Bean Day Queen pageant held in the Wayne City Schools Performance Gym. Winners are:

Bean Day activities later in the week and into Saturday include:
Thursday, September 26th: Church Night at Wayne City Church of the Harvest at 6pm.
Friday, September 27th: Wayne City Prom’s 5K at the Wayne City Schools parking lot at 6pm followed by Sweetie’s Block Party at 7pm or directly after the 5K. Wayne City Ruritan Cake Walk at Sweetie’s at 7:30 at the Block Party.
Saturday, September 28th features a full day of activities:
Tractor Show on Mill St. from 7am – 9am.
Vendor and Craft Fair on Mill St. from 8am – 3pm.
Car and Truck Show in the parking lot West of the school complex from 8:30am – 12 noon.
Quilt Show at the Wayne City Baptist Church from 9am – 3pm.
Bean Days Parade at 10am.
Free Ham and Beans at the Wayne City Ag Building directly after the parade.
Kids Corner featuring Balloon Art, Sno Cones, Shrine Bus Rides, Lion Train, Pedal Tractor Pull and more from 11am – 2pm.
Fred and his Feathered Friends Bird Show at the Community Building at 12 noon.
Raffle Drawing at the Ruritan Tent on Mill St. at 2pm.
Bingo at the Community building from 3pm – 5pm.
Wayne City Saddle Club Rodeo at the Wayne City Saddle Club beginning at 7pm to wrap up this years Bean Days Festival.
