GUILTY PLEAS HANDED DOWN IN WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT THURSDAY

Three individuals were sentenced in Wayne County Circuit Court  Thursday.  37-year-old, Sara Slover from Clay City pled guilty to a Burglary charge with the offense dating back to July of 2022.  Slover was sentenced by Judge Michael Valentine to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.  Slover is currently serving time at the Decatur Correctional Center on charges out of Clay County.

 

Sadie Preston, 28 of Mill Shoals pled guilty to CriminalTrespass to Vehicles and was placed on one year of Reporting Court Supervision and ordered to pay court costs.

 

59-year-old, Melony Taylor of Mt. Vernon pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to two years of Conditional Discharge plus court costs.
