ILLINOIS STATE POLICE INVESTIGATING OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING IN MT. CARMEL, ONE PERSON DEAD

Illinois State Police is handling an officer involved shooting incident that occurred in Mt. Carmel Thursday night.  According to reports from the Mt. Carmel Police Department, one person was killed during a domestic dispute investigation on Lambert Drive.  No officers were hurt.  The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
