FAIRFIELD FIRE DEPARTMENT CALLED OUT SUNDAY NIGHT

Fairfield Fire Department, Fairfield Rural and Wayne County Ambulance personnel were dispatched to a report of a structure fire a little after 8 o’clock Sunday night in the 200 block of NE 3rd St.    A spokesman for the fire department says the call was at the Patrick Halbert residence at 207 NE 3rd St and when firemen arrived, the homeowner had the fire out.  It was an electrical fire that had started from a light fixture.  No injuries were reported.
