The Quail and Upland Game Alliance held their officers meeting recently and randomly drew the gun winners from more than 1000 entries. Rylan Day from the Fairfield area, Tim Drone from Gallatin County and Scott Trammel from Saline County were the winners. The Alliance uses the funds raised from the gun raffle for three main purposes:
1). To encourage and provide financial support for landowners who will plant and maintain habitat for wildlife.
2). Promote youth programs and activities to promote shooting and hunting.
3). Establish a hunting preserve for use by all members including youth and senior citizens.
The Quail and Upland Game Alliance expresses their gratitude and thanks to all who supported the organization by purchasing tickets.
