Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 31-year-old Jonathan L Downen from Benton just before 1:30 early this (Tuesday) morning on numerous charges including a warrant issued out of Clay County for Possession of Methamphetamine, Use of Property for Meth Offenses and Obstructing Justice. Downen was also issued a citation following a traffic stop on South 1st St for Operating An Uninsured Vehicle. Downen was transported and lodged in the Wayne County Jail.
