FAIRFIELD HIGH SCHOOL TO HOST VETERANS DAY PROGRAM

Fairfield Community High School will present a Veterans Days program on Friday, November 8th at 10am in the East Gym.  Representatives of the local VFW will present the flag, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance with the FCHS Show Choir performing the National Anthem.  Recognition of FCHS students who have enlisted with the military and will go to the Armed Services post-high school will be recognized. The program for the morning will be the Quilts of Valor, presenting quilts to those who have served in the Military will be recognized.  Members of the FCHS band will perform Taps.  Those who wish to attend this program should enter through the east gym lobby doors.  Doors will open at 9:30am.  There is no charge and all are welcome to attend.
