TWO-VEHICLE ACCIDENT THURSDAY NIGHT WEST OF FAIRFIELD RESULTS IN INJURIES

Fairfield Police along with Fairfield Fire and Wayne County Ambulance personnel responded to a two vehicle accident Thursday night just before 6 o’clock on  West Delaware in the area of Petroleum Blvd.  Preliminary reports indicate a passenger car and truck were involved as both vehicles were heading eastbound on West Delaware St.  Two Air Evac helicopters airlifted two patients from the scene to an area hospital.  The Fairfield Police Department continues to investigate the crash.
