Three area residents were in Wayne County Circuit Court Thursday. 62-year-old, James Hillyard of Fairfield pled guilty to a charge of DUI and signed a waiver to a jury trial. Hillyard was placed on one year of court supervision and ordered to pay court costs.
Flora resident, 24-year-old Mary Jane Sweetin pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was placed on one year of court supervision and ordered to pay court costs.
Wesley Cone, 41 of Fairfield admitted in court Thursday to violating a previous sentence of 18 months probation on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Cone was sentenced to two years probation and within the two years Cone violates this lastest probation sentence, he will serve time in Jail. Cone was also ordered to pay court costs.
