CISNE AND EDWARDS COUNTY FFA AGRONOMY TEAMS PLACE IN RECENT COMPETITION
The Cisne FFA Agronomy Team of Dalli Belmont, Rebecca King, Allison Shannon, Aidyn Dickey, Mikkie Hearle, Kenzie Alvis, Ava Greifzu, Esme Krupp, and Alex Paul finished as the 2nd place team in Section 23 competition held November 19th at Wabash Valley College. Individual overall results included: Allison Shannon – 7th, Mikkie Hearle -12th and Kenzie Alvis – 15th.
Edwards County FFA Agronomy Team also competed in the Section 23 Agronomy competition last week. The team finished in 4th place with Cheyenne Duncan in 11th and Jake Wiseman in 14th. The teams head to state competition on December 14th.
Seventy students representing 9 schools participated in the event which included crop seed, weed and equipment identification, a soil practicum as well as judging rings and a written test.
