The annual White County Christmas Night Parade is scheduled for Saturday, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The parade route starts at Third and Cherry Streets, turning left to head east on Cherry Street. Participants will proceed along Cherry Street until reaching Main Cross, where the parade will turn right, moving south across Main Street to Robinson Street. From there, the route continues west on Robinson Street, concluding at Santa’s House in Theater Park.
To ensure public safety, Carmi Police, Carmi Auxiliary Officers, and the White County Sheriff’s Office will block all streets along the parade route starting at 5:30 p.m.
The festivities will culminate with a Tree Lighting Ceremony at the lot near Santa’s House, marking Santa’s arrival.
