The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) has announced its Class of 2024 Hall of Fame inductees, with several notable names from the region earning this prestigious honor.

Paul Knapp of Flora, a standout member of the Flora Wolves from 2008 to 2012, is among the inductees.   After high school, Knapp continued his basketball career at Vincennes University and McKendree College.

Joining Knapp in this year’s Hall of Fame class are fellow local stars Keane Thomann from Olney/Richland County and Tyra Buss-Davison of Mt. Carmel, both recognized for their exceptional contributions to the sport.

In the media category, veteran broadcaster Steve “Stevie” Anderson has been honored for his remarkable career spanning more than three decades. Anderson is best known for his work with WAKO in Lawrenceville and previously with WROY/WRUL in Carmi.

The inductees will be celebrated during the IBCA Hall of Fame banquet, scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025, at CEFCU Arena at Illinois State University in Normal.
