Fairfield Elks Lodge #1631 will hold the 2024 Hoop Shoot Contest this Saturday beginning at 10am in the Fairfield Community High School Gym. The Fairfield Elks has conducted this competition for many years.
During the contest, children ages 8-13 will compete to sink the most of 25 free throws. This year’s hoop shoot contest began within the schools and the winners from Saturday’s competition will advance on to the District level contest that will be held in Salem, IL on January 18th. Winners from the district will then advance to the state competition and then on to regional contest, culminating at the 2025 National finalist program that will be held this April in Chicago.
