43-year-old Brian Davis from Olney was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department Thursday night at approximately 8:40 following a traffic stop. During the stop, probable cause to search the vehicle was developed and Deputies located methamphetamine and digital scales. Also located in the vehicle was a crossbow that still contained the security tag. After further investigation it was determined that the crossbow was stolen from Wal-Mart in Fairfield.
Davis was placed under arrest and transported to the Wayne County Jail awaiting a detainment hearing. Davis was charged with possession of methamphetamine and theft.
