A Norris City man was taken into custody Monday night by White County authorities on a warrant.
Media reports say police were in the area of Sandy Run Lake and noticed a vehicle using a community dumpster. The individual was identified by the White County Sheriff as William Davis, who had an active White County warrant for theft of utility services.
Davis was arrested on the warrant and taken to the White County Jail, with bond set at $250. A court date had not been immediately set.
