Dr. Paul Stauder of Fairfield has officially purchased the optometry business from his brother, Dr. Scott Wooley, in Flora. The transaction was completed last month.
Both practices have been operating under the name Precision EyeCare Centers of Fairfield and Flora. Dr. Stauder brings 27 years of experience from his practice in Fairfield, while Dr. Wooley has been serving patients for 37 years. The businesses will continue to operate under the same name.
Although Dr. Wooley is not retiring immediately, he plans to reduce his hours at the Flora practice. Moving forward, Dr. Stauder and his staff from Fairfield will see patients in Flora on Thursdays and Fridays, while Dr. Wooley will continue to see patients in Flora on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Dr. Stauder anticipates bringing another optometrist on board soon to help manage the Flora practice.
