BASEBALL NEWS:
The Chicago Cubs have their new closer. The team traded for Astros reliever Ryan Pressly yesterday. Pressly spent the last seven seasons in Houston, working as the team’s primary closer between 2020 and 2023. The 36-year-old went 2-and-3 with a 3.49 ERA and four saves in 59 appearances last season.
