4TH ANNUAL OILFIELD WORKER APPRECIATION DAY SET FOR FEBRUARY 27TH

The Illinois Petroleum Resources Board has announced the 4th Annual Illinois Basin Celebration.   The Oilfield Worker Appreciation Day is set for Thursday, February 27th, at the 404 Seed Station in Carmi, with lunch starting at 11:30 AM.

Participants can look forward to receiving complimentary Illinois Basin Proud merchandise, including hoodies, stocking caps, flags, stickers, T-shirts, and caps, along with a catered lunch from the Smokin’ Pig in Grayville. This year’s theme focuses on oilfield safety, featuring a presentation during lunch by former oilfield worker Mark Weiler. Additionally, the Illinois Petroleum Resources Board is organizing a safety training session and Petro Pros presentations for local schools.
