Last week at Fairfield City Hall, Hearing Officer Mary Beth Welch-Collins presided over several court cases on the docket:
Leonard Lamczyk was ticketed for a dog running at large. He paid his ticket prior to the court hearing and was not required to appear.
Skyler Lurz received a ticket for having an open burn. Lurz paid a fine of $75 and was also not required to appear.
Cody Buchanan was issued a ticket for parking in a no-parking zone by Fairfield Police. Hearing Officer Welch-Collins ordered him to pay a $50 fine plus court costs.
Justin Downen was ticketed by Fairfield Police for an open burn. He was found guilty by the hearing officer and ordered to pay a $100 fine plus court costs.
