The White County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its 79th Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 20th, at the Floral Hall of the fairgrounds in Carmi. Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by a complimentary fish dinner and sides prepared by McPeak Fish Market at 5:30 p.m.
After the dinner, a brief business meeting will take place, during which two Directors will be elected. Additionally, awards will be presented to the 1st place and County Best winners of the District’s annual Poster Contest, as well as to the 2024 Conservation Farm Family, Sunnybrook Gardens. Attendees will also have the chance to win various door prizes donated by local businesses.
