FEDEX CLOSING 3 ILLINOIS FACILITIES, INCLUDING EFFINGHAM

FedEx has notified workers that is will be closing operations at 3 Illinois shipping facilities, including Effingham in 2025. The other two facilities set to close are located in Urbana and Springfield. It’s not clear on the exact locations in each of these cities as FedEx only commented on the report saying that employees had been notified and is some case had been offered opportunities to relocate to other locations or severance pay depending on the situation.
