The Cisne Village Board met Monday night with a light agenda, the Cisne Village Board members addressed several maintenance concerns within the community. Village employee Dave Bullard reported that the roof over well #3 had collapsed, posing a risk to the straw stored there, which was becoming wet as a result.
The board unanimously approved a quote from Miller Construction for $3,200. This proposal includes removing the damaged roof, rebuilding the structure, installing a steel roof, adding a ceiling inside, and creating a 4-foot by 4-foot removable access point for well maintenance.
Additionally, the board approved a $100 donation to the Cisne High School Post-Prom event.
Village Clerk Vicky Mugrage also mentioned that Santa’s House requires some repairs. She plans to apply for a Farm Bureau grant once an estimated cost for the repairs is determined.
Sunrise Sanitation submitted a request to be added to the agenda for the March 10th meeting.
