The Edwards County FFA team participated in the Parliamentary Procedure contest held on February 27th.. This Leadership Development Event is designed to help students master the skills necessary for conducting effective business meetings and developing leadership abilities.
The competition consisted of three key components: a written examination, an 11-minute parliamentary procedure presentation, and oral questions following the presentation. Representing Edwards County were team members Quentin Pike, Emily Spray, Aiden McDowell, Parker Biggs, Gabe Wyatt, Hayley Perry, and Chase Shelton.
The team placed 4th at the section level. Additionally, Parker Biggs earned 3rd place in the Chairperson category, while Quentin Pike was recognized as the 8th place Floor Member.
